The Makery

Nim has dreams of becoming an opera singer. Between singing practice, she makes a scurry bug, a baked stained-glass window cookie and a monster cushion.

After quizzing Nim, The Makery helps her make a wax crayon crocodile, a truck drawing, a monster trifle and a glittery pig game.

While her robot assistant works on the chores, Nim makes a rocket, bakes a ladybird biscuit and draws something inspired by a loud sound in the empty room.

Despite the distractions of a Time Machine in The Makery, Nim makes a royal sprout light, bakes fruit biscuits, and creates a jellyfish costume.

Nim finds a ventriloquist's dummy and explores mysterious noises in the empty room. These inspire an elephant picture, a rice cake owl and a prawn costume.

Nim thinks there is treasure buried under The Makery and draws a mole to help her dig. She makes a golden trophy, a bread leaf and a yellow digger costume.
