At bedtime Alphablock P tries to get P's pet, Pip, to SIT, relax with a PAT, and SIP a drink from a TAP. Exhausted, P takes a NAP and Pip falls asleep too, or so it seems.
Alphablocks C and K want to be the only one to make their sound. C makes CAT and CAP. K makes KID and KIT. They are happy when they realise that they make different words.
Using a HAT and a MUG, Alphablocks H and M build sandcastles. H's has a TOP; M's grows UP. The PEN helps M decorate; H uses a DOT. I tries to say who will WIN, and is surprised!
Alphablock W finds water for R's rose in a WET well. He replaces a leaky CAN with a CUP, makes it TIP, drenches the rose, then revives it in the HOT sun. A DOT changes its colour!
In a play hospital doctors fail to cure Alphablock A with a bandage from their BAG. A RAM is no use. A HAT makes A too hot. A FAN makes her too cold. A NAP helps. An apple is best!
Alphablock E searches for a home for Ned the frog. They have no luck with a BED, a DEN, or a PEN belonging to a cross HEN. Then a VET suggests somewhere WET. Ned loves his pond!
Searching for treasure, the Alphablocks ride towards a BIG tree on the back of a PIG. They feed it a FIG and accidentally make it a WIG. At the tree they DIG up something unusual.
Alphablocks O and G search for T. A DOG helps, but they lose it. They run on a LOG, then make a BOG to attract the dog. The dog finds T lost in a FOG. They make a POT and have tea.
Uncertain about jumping to the top of the vowels' acrobatic tower, Alphablock U rejects the offer of a crash MAT, a safety NET and new KIT. But, excited to HOP, he goes UP at last.
Alphablock L tells how Alphablock U helps a fox CUB to find its mum. They cross a river in a TUB, shelter in a HUT, fly on the back of a BUG, and find MUM in a forest clearing.

N needs animals for the farm. He's amazed when the singing vowels use a JET, a ZIP, a bubble that goes POP, and a pool of MUD, to produce a cow, two hens, a sheep and a pig.
Alphablock H makes not just one HEN, but three. The pen helps to give them names with capital letters PEN, JEN and ZEN. And there's one more name to be given - BEN the pen!
OO can make different sounds. Alphablock M dreams they make MOO and ride on a cow, go round a LOOP, pass some FOOD, meet a flying BOOK, visit a WOOD and a COOK, and eat GOOD FOOD.

In a magical pop-up shop, Alphablock I rejects the singing owners' offers of a big SHIP, a big THIN ship, and a tiny CHIP. She falls for a THICK chip before the shop must SHUT.
Alphablock I has to clear up spilt INK. She turns it PINK, gets stuck in a SINK, slips on the ice in a RINK, but manages to THINK of skates. Now, she can THANK her helpful friends.
Alphablock Letter Team OW conjures up costumes for a fancy-dress party. Alphablock C is a COW; H has to HOWL as a wolf. Nurse N must get there NOW. OW go as an OWL and take a BOW.
Alphablock Letter Team OW entertains Alphablock N. They play in the SNOW, make snowballs go SLOW and build a tiny snowMAN. When they make him GROW, he puts on an amazing SHOW.
Riding on a SLED, Alphablock S loses her letter. It runs off and makes her friends SLIP and SKID. At the TOP of a hill, they make it STOP and put it in the right SPOT, in S's dome.
The Alphablocks help a little bug catch up with its family. To delay them, they make a BUMP, TILT a stick, and provide a REST. WIND helps, and they BEND a plant to make a bridge.
A STAR invites the Alphablocks to follow it on a BROOM. They take off on two BROOMS, encounter a STORM, and ride into the heart of the Northern Lights in the BRIGHT night sky.

A SNAIL starts to CHOMP through the Alphablocks' vegetable garden. In a FLASH, it becomes large and fast. They follow its TRAIL and work out that it needs its own GREEN patch.
The Alphablocks learn to read some mysterious signs that say JOG, HOP, UP and GET IN. Eventually they discover that they are playing a super game devised by Alphablock S.

Alphablock I sings a song about herself - I AM I, I AM FUN - while a disgruntled Ben the Pen scribbles away so that we can read along. In the end, the song becomes about Ben too.
